Recently a colleague sent me the results of a simple analogy he used with a key team in his company.  It produced remarkable results and started an important conversation within the group about their current functioning and where they needed to go.  Complete the analogy with the first word that pops into your head:

intelligence trumps ____________

    Integrity trumps intelligence…and intelligence trumps effort.
    In today’s busy, driven environment, I am constantly evaluating, moment to moment, if the work I am doing is core to the task at hand. When satisfied that I am focused on the effort that will result in the best ROI, I am able to ignore the barrage of interruptions inherent in our daily culture.
